How do payments work? How much does it cost?

Each mentor sets their own price, which is shown clearly on their profile.

All prices are:

  • In USD
  • Billed on a monthly subscription basis

Free trials

  • You get one free trial per mentor.
  • If you try different mentors, each one can offer you a trial.
  • If you cancel and later sign up with the same mentor again, the trial will not be available a second time.

When will I be charged?

You will only be charged:

  • After your 7-day free trial ends
  • Then once per month after that

Billing continues automatically each month until you cancel, even if you do not schedule calls during that time.

Most mentors include calls and sessions in their plan. You usually won’t pay extra unless the mentor offers an additional service outside your package.

What if I don’t talk to my mentor?

Mentorships are flexible and do not require a fixed schedule.

Some pairs talk weekly, others every two weeks, and some mainly communicate by chat.

If you do not have a session in a given week, your subscription is still active and billed as usual.

However, the monthly billing cycle protects you:

  • If your mentor is unresponsive or not a good fit, you can cancel quickly.
  • Our refund policy is designed to be generous in these cases.
  • Mentors can also pause mentorships if needed.

When do I need to enter my payment details?

You will be asked to enter your payment details after a mentor accepts your application.

At that point:

  • Your 7-day free trial begins
  • You will not be charged immediately

We ask for payment details upfront because:

  • Your mentor is committing to work with you long-term
  • It reduces no-shows and last-minute dropouts
  • It ensures mentors are paid for reserving time for you

If it’s not a good fit

If you decide the mentorship is not right for you, you can cancel directly from your dashboard in just a few clicks.
